We are The Kiln Pottery Studio, welcome to our vibrant and interactive paint your own pottery studio based in the heart of Low Fell. Our studio is a great place for customers of all ages to engage their creativity to design and make a ceramic masterpiece. Whether it be spending time with the kids, socialising with friends, making a unique gift for somebody special or capturing moments in time with our unique hand/footprint items.

Don't worry if you're not feeling artistic, we have a huge variety of ceramic items and coloured glazes as well as sponges, stamps and stencils to help you if you get stuck. Being creative can be thirsty work so enjoy one of our hot or cold refreshments whilst you paint. We also have a selection of sweet treats to tempt you.

Studio Report

Choose an item from our huge selection of bisque including money boxes, collectable animals, trinket boxes and pirates and princess pieces as well as mugs, plates and tea pots. All our pottery is individually priced and includes the studio time, use of the paint brushes and tools as well as glazing and firing your items.

Parties Report

The Kiln Pottery Studio loves to throw a party, so let us help you celebrate a Birthday or special occasion such as a Hen do, Baby Shower or get together with a Paint Your Own Pottery party. We offer a range of packages which will guarantee your guests have a great party. Your party will include up to 2 hours of time in our studio with one of our dedicated staff to support your party with their creative masterpieces.

Events Report

Come and visit the The Kiln Pottery Studio at Pineapple and Bears Cafe and allow us to aid you in capturing the perfect prints on a range of pottery whilst also allowing your little ones the opportunity to burn off some energy. Perfect as gifts or keepsakes. The Kiln Pottery Studio and The Rare Drop have collaborated to bring to a relaxing evening of pottery painting and Red Wine tasting.

FAQ's Report

We are fortunate enough to be located within easy reach of two public carparks, located behind each side of the high street. These do come with a small hourly/Daily charge. Unfortunately, as we are based on the first floor, access to the studio is up a flight of stairs. If you are visiting with a Pram/Pushchair, one of our team would be more than happy to help you get up the stairs, please just give us a shout.

Lovely place, staff was so accommodating. We went for a bridal shower and it was so lovely. There were so many options of things to paint with a great price range! Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun day out or just to chill with friends. Looking forward to hopefully coming back!

I would highly recommend the ladies here. They were so helpful whilst capturing my sons footprints, very patient and accommodating for the lack of artistic flare on our part! It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon and I will be trying an adult class with wine in the future!

We had a party here for a group of 10-13 year olds and it was just perfect. Carly and Kayleigh were brilliant hosts and facilitators and we all had a very relaxed, creative and fun time. 5 star service and 5 star experience. Thanks guys!

I’ve been here a number of times as this is one of my daughters favourite places! Really friendly atmosphere and super helpful. The staff have always been happy to help. My daughter likes to ‘take her time’ and this has never been an issue even if busy. 5 stars
