The best way to find out about Staplehurst Cricket & Tennis Club is to come along and have a drink at our newly re-furbished bar. The club has an excellent range of playing and social facilities. We're a friendly group, always keen to welcome new social and playing members. Go to our membership page for more information on how to join.

Services
We are committed to better meet the needs of 450 members, the 5-7,000 members of the community who use our facilities every year and the anticipated growth in these numbers as Staplehurst expands by 40% in the next few years. Create additional capacity for playing sport to meet needs of current growing membership and anticipated new growth.
The constitution is reinforced by day-to-day operating standards, the Club's by-laws, which apply equally to members and non-members - including guests, visitors and occasional users - and are incorporated in our Code of Conduct.
Staplehurst Cricket & Tennis Supporters' Club Limited, as a company limited by shares, is wholly owned by Staplehurst Cricket & Tennis Club Limited and, as such, adopts the same constitution and by-laws although it has a separate company memorandum and articles of association.

Joy has been a member of the club over 30 years. Her roles have included Chairman, Secretary, player and Head Tea Lady and, together with husband Alan, running the Bar and Clubhouse. Her tireless enthusiasm is legendary and with two sons playing cricket for Staplehurst, we are optimistic that she will remain as a cornerstone for many more years.
Since joining the club in 2006, Paul has been 1st X1 Captain as well as sitting on various club and league committees. He is honoured to serve the club as President for the next two years. Prior to joining the club, Paul represented Norfolk in the Minor Counties Championship and also played Kent League cricket at Gore Court.
We have four adult teams. On Saturdays the 1st XI and 2nd XI teams play in the Kent Cricket League. On Sunday Village League XI play in Division 2 of the Kent Village Cricket League and our Sunday XI play a range of friendly matches against local teams. There are also occasional midweek friendly games and the midweek evening Dyno T20 Cup competition.

The farmers market held here on a Saturday is definitely one not to be missed.
They sell everything from fresh bread and cheese, sausage rolls, there’s a stall with curry, there is this woodwork stall too.
There is usually a mix of different stalls each week although they’re regulars that come once a fortnight usually.
They have a Facebook page and Instagram for anyone wanting to search it up, search for the Artisan Farmers Market, Staplehurst and it should come up.
