From his early days with a music scholarship at school, to touring the world as a guitarist and frontman, his musical knowledge and expertise is second-to-none. He has trained up several apprentices who have gone on to set up their own studios, but his approach and ethos to getting the best out of a band remains unique and unrivalled.

John has just mixed a track for The Rattlebacks and we were blown away by the step up achieved by using Outhouse. Fairly priced and very much to the point, which is exactly what you want. We had three revisions off of John who listened to how we wanted to hear our track and didn't stop until that was achieved. We will be using Outhouse again and we hope to record with John in the future, try him, you won't regret it.

I have recorded here for over 12 years within bands such as attention thieves and the Arusha accord and most recently as a solo artist.
I have always come away with a professional, crisp sounding product and John Mitchell's production is always on point.
The experience is always a good one, the studio is very acomidating, the atmosphere is friendly and I've always had a good laugh.
I Highly recommend any band looking to break through to go there as outhouse studios has recorded breakthrough albums for such bands as entershikari, you me at six, funeral for a friend, architects and many many more
