Great beer garden! If you are planning an outdoor gathering for a large group of people, this is the best place to go to! Their garden is large, with two separate parts, beautiful in the evening when fairy lights come on and there are outdoor heaters to keep you warm too. We had some nibbles (chunky chips were fantastic) and I'm sure you can order something substantial too.

Visited Hove Place for a light lunch on 2nd Jan, ordering soup. Not only was the description misleading, implying the spicy pumpkin soup was served WITH feta, as opposed to it being IN the soup, it was also practically inedible due to the vast amount of salt. Perhaps that is why they serve only 1/3rd of a small bowl. For £9.95 it was a disgrace. Will certainly not return!!

What an evening! I was lucky enough to win a competition for a festive meal for 4 at Hove Place and they did not disappoint. The service was 5 star, the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and could… not have been more accommodating. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere was warm and buzzy. Could not recommend this place more highly.

I've eaten here twice and the food is delicious! (Sunday roast is banging)
Portions tend to be on the larger side, especially starters and sides.
There's loads of space inside and outside (the beer garden is very cute).
It's a popular spot, so go there early or at off-peak hours if you want to avoid the crowds.

Absolutely stunning Roast dinner this evening! Food was phenomenal and can’t recommend it enough. Great service from all the staff and there was such a great vibe. Special mention to Charlotte who was very helpful and provided superb service. Simeon was also very helpful with recommendations off the menu and lovely to chat to! New favourite restaurant ❤️

Good pub, lovely outdoor seating space, nice vibe. Good choice of drinks. Went for roast and the roast was tasty. Not giving 5star as there is room for improvment. There was not enough veggies with the roast ( only little broccoli and a little bit of red cabbage ). I think the roast deserves about 4 star, the garden setting 5 star. Staff were friendly.
