It's hard to beat a fun day out for the whole family at this beautiful Blue Flag Award-winning beach just 3 miles from Dartmouth. Backed by evergreens and scented pines, there's a feeling of being in the Mediterranean here. Throughout the season there's a bathing raft, sand pits for building sandcastles, and water sports equipment for hire.
Venture across the River Dart at Dartmouth on the ferry to access Brixham, Greenway, Coleton Fishacre and the beaches of Torbay or spend time in picturesque Kingswear exploring the village, castle and church. The ferry runs every 15 minutes, 7 days a week. This spectacular trip down the River Dart lasts for 90 minutes and takes you through some of the most stunning scenery imaginable before reaching the medieval town of Totnes.

We had the best holiday. We stayed in riverside 3 and we were very blessed with the amazing weather. The accommodation was great for me , my husband and 2 boys.
There were plenty of things to keep us all entertained including the steam train and boat cruise on the paddle boat. The view from our balcony especially in the evening when the sun was setting was amazing.
Great value for money and one of top staycations just what we needed after a tough 18 months.
