Crown River Cruises offers luxurious cruises supplying meals and entertainment. Our Thames river cruise vessels are frequently used to host functions such as wedding receptions, birthdays, business parties or any other special occasions where food, entertainment and a bar can be provided.
We started as a small, family-run charter-based company, established in 1986, which began with one vessel and later purchased the Sarpedon, Salient, Sapele and Sarah Kathleen. In 1992 we began scheduled services to and from Westminster to Tower Bridge. This became very successful and led to the expansion of Crown River Cruises, as in 2002 we introduced a new vessel, The Sarpedon.

Services
We have booked the 'Salient' vessel with Crown River two years in a row. Cruising along the river having well deserved beers and prosecco with our whole team was fantastic. It's become an annual summer tradition that all the staff really look forward to. Thank you so much for your kind words below and for helping us pull this champagne cruise off!
Our sister company Circular Cruise runs daily sightseeing trips between Westminster and Tower Bridge.
Calling at Westminster Pier, Embankment, Festival Pier, Bankside and St Katharine's Pier, with a non-stop return trip to Westminster, Circular Cruise operates a hop-on hop-off service that enables you to take your time exploring the attractions on the South Bank, having a relaxing break between piers as you put your feet up and travel along the river to your next stop.

Our sister company Thames River Services (TRS) runs daily sightseeing trips between Westminster Pier, St Katharine's Pier and Greenwich Pier. Between April and October, TRS has an additional loop from Greenwich to the Thames Barrier and back, enabling you to get a closer look at one of London's modern icons.
M.V. Sapele is a purpose-built passenger vessel for the River Thames. It was constructed in Holland in 2006. The Sapele can accommodate up to 248 passengers in comfort with the lower saloon seating 170 and the open, upper deck seating 146. The vessel is ideal for transfers to many of the riverside venues such as the O2 (Millennium Dome), The Royal Naval College at Greenwich and Canary Wharf.
The Sarah Kathleen is a large single-decked vessel, mainly used for the Circular Cruise tours. The vessel has a rigid canopy cover with open sides, enabling a perfect view of all the tourist attractions that are passed throughout the tour. The vessel's large open deck has been used as a filming platform as the ideal views are unobstructed.
