We are proud to announce the opening in September of our latest venue at Share Discovery Village on the banks of Upper lough Erne (Fermanagh). For the first time, Cossum Swim Schools will be offering open water swimming training and Sea Scooters as well as all our other lessons. Swimming teacher and lifeguard courses (both day and residential )will be on offer.

New to Northern Ireland the Seascooter Programme is a series of 3 progressive awards which are designed to introduce skills and techniques required for safe and enjoyable use of the Seascooter range in a pool environment.

For children to become confident in the water, then it is important they learn to swim as early as possible. For babies, swimming is good exercise and helps develop muscles that they may be too young to work with outside the pool, not to mention what a wonderful bonding experience parent and baby swimming is.
Cossum Swim Schools operates an incentive based swimming skills scheme, International Learn to Swim Program (ILSP). This program offers a fun, comprehensive and engaging learn to swim programme accompanied by free success trackers for children and parents to track success and stay motivated throughout the programme.
Holders of the Safety Award for Teachers are capable in pool rescue, first aid, adult, child and infant CPR techniques. Holders will be competent to deal with poolside emergencies in accordance with the HSE publication Managing Health and Safety in Swimming Pools and British Standard BS EN 15288 Part 2, Safety Requirements for Operations.
