Services
Our experts will help you to choose between classic and contemporary styles. Whatever you choose, your floor will be created and finished using traditional marquetry techniques. All our reclaimed solid wood flooring is sourced directly from Europe (with the exception of teak), the calibre of our reclaimed solid wood is second to none.
We take great pride in our work, ensuring that every project involves materials of an outstanding quality, sourced, fitted and finished to the highest standards. In line with our values we aim to reuse natural materials and thus promote a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way of living.
The Herringbone design has a long and distinguished history. It dates back to the Roman Empire and the Egyptians who used it in roads and textiles as a hallmark of quality. The pattern is allegedly named for its fancied resemblance to the bones of a fish, such as a herring. This attractive floor is a traditional French design, made up of elegant chevrons forming a continuous zigzag pattern.
Eco Flooring UK always endeavour to reduce waste wherever possible in order to protect our environment. Our reclaimed wall paneling is produced using off cuts of wood that may not suitable for flooring however can be turned into stunning wall cladding. In comparison to paints and wallpapers, it is easy to clean and repair providing you with a long lasting, sustainable feature to any room.
Beyond the incredible character and beauty of reclaimed solid wood flooring, there are some technical considerations that make reclaimed solid wood a viable and potentially superior choice compared to standard options. The default option for suppliers and installers is often to select an engineered floor as they are pre-finished, generally easy to install and carry a reasonable degree of stability over underfloor heating.

Ian fitted our floor beautifully. We met Jim at the grand design show and fell in love with the reclaimed wine barrel oak floor (300 year old!). We had beautiful detailing added to match one of our existing floors, we love it and are having more done

Jim and his boys from Eco Flooring came to ours to fit a reclaimed oak chevron floor after we met at the Grand Designs Show. Throughout our entire place, which measures about 90 sq mtrs. All done and dusted in just over two days. Looks amazing, very happy.
