Copia Wealth & Tax is a relatively new name in accountancy, however. Tildesley & Tonks has been a very familiar name in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, UK for a long time. Cecil Tildesley formed his accountancy practice in the Black Country town in 1903.
2013 saw the old company refreshed with the expansion of the team, a new name but with the same commitment and purpose - to provide a quality service to our clients and help them to achieve their objectives.In 2015 came the dawn of a new era as Shaun Philpott acquired the practice - our ethos remains to provide a first class service to our clients and help them to increase their wealth and reduce their tax.

Having previously held a senior management role within the practice, Shaun acquired Copia Wealth and Tax Limited in 2015. Before that, he had spent 15 years in practice as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and PwC before setting up his own vocational training business. Additionally, he also enjoyed roles in PLC business development and SME advisory services before making his subsequent return to public practice.

I have dealt with Copia Wealth & Tax (including the previous business owner) and I have always found the staff very helpful and the service to be first class. As I live local to their offices calling in to drop off and collect documents has only ever helped the process and speed of my self-assessment.
