Harefield Tackle is a family run business, that has been trading in the heart of the Colne Valley for nearly 40 years. Ever since our doors first opened we have pushed to improve the business year on year. We now occupy a very large and well stocked fishing tackle shop, displaying products from all the latest brands over 2 floors.

What an amazing selection and great staff, very helpful. I took the wife in (she's anti fishing, she don't see the point) and she was totally amazed, 3 aisle's plus, of just bait, in her words so many flavours and colours. She loved it in there, she wants to get the grandchildren the little kits and she couldn't believe the size of the shop (massive, and I didn't even take her upstairs) full with so many "in her words, Christmas gift ideas and stocking fillers. Check out the window display, a great fold up seat for £19,99. The wife calls it an "aladdin's cave for fishermen" To sum up, its brilliant

They are nice when you want to purchase goods. Unfortunately the after sales for faulty goods is shocking. Really need to re-train staff in consumer rights and customer service. Telling a customer they are griefy and aggressive is just rude and unprofessional, when no aggressive behaviour has been shown. Refused a refund on a faulty item that was… bought under 7 days ago and unused as Harefield Tackle had to go back to the manufacturer Nash, to ask if they can issue a refund??Purchase was made to Harefield Tackle and not to the manufacturer so why the refund delay? Avoid this place and shop

I go there because its primarily the only place around. The staff are generally helpful most of the time. Its a reasonably well stocked tackle shop and appears to specialise more in carp gear than the other disciplines of our sport. I returned an umbrella today which was reluctantly exchanged for something much more expensive. Overall i guess there pricing is competitive enough. I only gave it 3 stars because they sold me an umbrella for £50.00 that was practically useless!! I dont think they should be selling such poor items, but then what do i know?
