We provide Restoration, Cleaning, Valuation, Home approval, Rentals, Lectures and Purchasing. Every oriental rug is unique and your rug will be cleaned with the most suitable method for its age, type of dye and fibers used. We do not use abrasive cleaning products or automated machinery. All the work carried out on your carpets or rugs will be done by using nothing but natural or soft fibers brushes.
Often you will find that your rugs fringes are beginning to fray and looking rather untidy. This is just about the right time to get those worn fringes repaired and secured again. Repairing fringes of rugs early is a straight forward process and less costly than full rug repairs. This Persian rugs side cord was damaged by a puppy.

We advise our customers that any redecoration or new interior design scheme should focus on the rug as the first thought simply because it is often a considerable expense and it is easier to find curtains and cushions to match rather than the other way around. Frequently we are asked to find a rug to match material which is usually quite complicated and it becomes a frustrating process.

"The service from Thames Oriental Carpets was excellent from start to finish. Yari is a true expert who is thorough in what he does, punctual and reliable. Following a clean and repair, our rug now looks rich and vibrant. We were concerned that some of the damage could not be repaired but nothing was a problem for Yari. This is the second time I have used Younis at Thames Oriental Carpets. Cannot recommend enough.
First occasion we purchased three small bedside sized Persian carpets, in 2019.
Today, Jan 2020, we have purchased a living room Persian carpet 8ft x 4.4ft. Superb quality.
We were undecided on our first visit with 3 options, which Younis encouraged us to take home to try first. We returned with a favourite and again were given 3 further options. Not many, if any, places that will let you do this.
Highly recommend a visit, hundreds of carpets in stock.

We have a valuable Chinese carpet which we bought in Hong Kong 35 years ago. We have had it cleaned around every three years. This is the first time we've used Thames Oriental, and I must say the result is far better than any previous company, and the cost is much more reasonable. I can recommend this company 100%!
