Little Stars Theatre Workshops is an independent theatre school, we have been delivering classes for children ages 3-18 across Essex for 6 years. We focus on Acting, Singing and Dance in equal measure and work to develop skills in all three disciplines. At Little Stars we focus greatly on having fun and building confidence.

As we believe, if your child is having fun and they feel confident, skills in the three disciplines will be easier to learn. Confidence for us is key, as it is essential as a life skill and will support your child through all areas of life. Fun is also key, as being happy is of utmost importance. We feel the two go hand in hand and support children in following and achieving their dreams.
Services
All our classes focus on drama, singing and dance in equal part. We work on skills and confidence building while having great fun. At the end of each term we put on a production for family and friends to enjoy. We also offer LAMDA classes in both acting and Musical theatre. During these sessions students work on individual performing and presenting skills and we hold annual exams each Spring term.
Our Twinkling Stars classes are for children aged 3-6, they are 45 minutes long, are high energy and lots of fun. Each term we have a theme which links our drama, dance and singing sessions together. We work towards a short performance or presentation that we perform to family and friends at the end of a term.
This class is desinged for children who have started school or children who are just about to start. These sessions are high energy and exciting, with lots of acting, singing, dancing with fun and games. Each term we follow a different theme and at the end of the term the parents are invited in to watch a show or a demonstration class.
During acting LAMDA sessions students work on their solo performance and presenting skills, in the earlier grades children work towards performing a poem and discussing a well-known object. As the grades progress students work on monologues and speeches. During musical theatre LAMDA sessions students work on acting through song, during sessions students sing as a group, in pairs and as solo performers, working up to performing solo for exams.
Our play in a day option is a one-day workshop, where a qualified and experienced Primary school and performing arts teacher works with a class of children throughout a day to put on a show at the end of the day. This show can be simply drama or can be a musical of your choosing and incorporate song, dance and acting.
