The doors opened to Hereward Curtain Company for the very first time nearly 4 decades ago in 1980. With premises located in the centre of the historic cathedral city of Peterborough, we very quickly established a reputation for providing a quality service with products to match. Over time, clients tastes and requirements changed from "off the shelf" ready made curtains to tailor made bespoke designs.
This shift necessitated the need for additional space to display a more extensive variety of fabrics and other window treatments which took Hereward Curtain Company to St David's Square just outside the city centre for 5 years before taking ownership of a brand new premises in Challenger Way where we have now been operating from for nearly 15 years.

We needed blinds/curtains fitted throughout our bungalow and luckily found hereward curtains after having a quote from another company who was just not interested in helping at all. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable, really helpful and happy to guide us with ideas,they were as enthusiastic as we were and what a selection!. Simon expertly fitted them and we are so very happy with results. Absolute value for money. Would highly recommend this company.

Working with Marta and the Hereward Curtain team has been an absolute pleasure. They fitted venetian blinds throughout our entire property and more recently measured, made and installed some large curtains for our patio doors. Marta, Pauline & the team were so helpful & extremely patient & listened to what we wanted. I loved visiting the showroom, to touch & feel the fabric samples. Nothing was ever a problem. These guys are not only professional, the product quality is top notch and value for money is excellent. Simon was the tidiest fitter we’ve had in our home.
