Went from being a great shop with lots of selection to only 3 tanks with fish for sale no one with any information at all tamar aquatics was known to stock oddball fish they have all gone just a basic fish shop now shame

Came in around 3wks ago to get a new tank equipment spent more than expected but the information from Stuart was awesome and his help was 1st class one member of your staff I will be dealing with again many thanks keep up the awesome work

I came into the shop last week to get some fish upon getting advise from Stuart (I think he was called ) and being told the fish i wanted went compatible in a community tank he advised me on other fish that have worked and look great in my tank many thanks and will be back.

Went in last Saturday about some issues I was having in my tank jd spoke to a man called Stuart. His advice on the issues I was having with my PH and alkaline levels was spot on my tank is now running where it should be! Will definitely be going back and getting more help and advice and probably gonna buy some fish too 😋

JACK OF ALL TRADES!!! Can post a lower score! very concerned for a baby conure in there care being fed large amounts of sunflower seeds which can shrink thier livers. There answer to this is, well later In life it will. No this starts from feeding excessive amounts from the start. Which vets will agree with. There answer is they have worked in many zoo's well if they did maybe they should educate themselfs and listen. They sell fireworks near there animals aswell. Selling sugar gliders singly. Never felt welcome before it changed hands , but now the new staff ( Luke ) the manager and his team are very welcoming and helpful , I do however feel that the younger staff need to learn more about the fish and their environment , each time I visit , there is a little more to see , hopefully a lot more fish in the future , out of ten I give it an 8 so far

Under new management, on entry I received a "hello" I looked around and checked out the store, the aquatics room is undergoing a tidy up. There's a wide selection of fireworks, lots of pond chemicals and other various pieces.
The reptiles have gone and are covered by a garden fence, the same tanks are in place as before.
You can change the staff as much as you like but unless the owners give the manager permission to make actual decisions backed with finance then nothing will change here, the little plant stock is not worthy of being sold, the fish pricing is now per fish and no group purchases

Buyer beware! Cockroach infested! Unlicensed pet shop!
I say “aquatics and reptiles” loosely because the title is correct they do have aquatic species and reptiles however I have never visited such an awful shop like this in my life.
On arrival at the entrance to the building the disheveled appearance didn’t give me much confidence in the quality of the shop I was about to enter. Walking through the door to the shop I was greeted by a 6ft fence panel to block off what I assume is the entrance of the till. It is shame they have the computer at the other

When Pets at Home does a better job with fish you know a fish shop is bad.
Fish in the wrong water, wrong substrate for species not for sale (Fahaka puffer on gravel, what kind of person does that? I'll answer that question for you...one who doesn't really know what they're doing).
Other than a tank full of very good condition Discus, this shop offers you nothing more than the same selection your local pet shop would have given you in 1984.
Out of all of the tropical fish shops in Cornwall, this is by far the worst (including every single Pets at Home).
