Services
We have a wide range of cultivation and seedbed preparation systems to suit all types of soils and customers preference including ploughing, both on land and in furrow, deep subsoiling, flatlifting, power harrowing, pressing and min-till. We have two Vaderstad Rapid drills, an 8metre and a 4metre along with 3 & 4 metre power harrow/drill combination units.
A Kuhn weighcell fertiliser spreader controlled via the GPS system with section control and auto shutoff. This spreader is also capable of variable rate spreading and is compatible with most precision farming systems. We spread a variety of material with our 12tonne HD rear delivery spreaders with spinning decks and weighcells, including chicken manure, composts and paper waste.
Two Lexion combines, all fitted with Terra-Trac and 4 wheel drive, and vario headers, with twin vertical knives for direct cutting oil seed rape. All have yield mapping onboard. To compliment the high output of these combines we have a chaser bin to take the grain off the combines and directly into wagons before transporting to grain stores.
We operate a wide range of balers for straw, hay, haylage and silage, all are equipped with additive applicators for preservatives for all crops. Bale sizes available are square 43 with a Krone XCut function for chopping grass or straw, 33 and a round variable chamber upto 5ft. We have bale wrappers for both round and square bales, also bale handlers for wrapped bales and straw bales.
We run a self-propelled forage harvester team available for grass, wholecrop and maize. The Forage harvester is fitted with corn cracker for maize and grain mill for wholecrop work. Both low and high volume additive applicators are fitted. Quantimeter is utilised as standard for accurate yield mapping of the fields and to get a total tonnage of the crop harvested and ensiled in the clamp.
