Services
Established for more than 60 years, we are a family business that was started by award winning magician, Ron MacMillan. The company is now run by Ron's son & daughter, Martin & Georgia. During these 60 years, the world of Magic has seen many changes, as has London, throughout this time International Magic has remained in its central London premises, serving our customers (many of whom become our friends) as we would expect to be served ourselves.

A magical shop, rather than just a magic shop. The staff have been there for years and (once you've passed the test) will teach you two tricks and then potentially sell you one. Most customers are magicians: amateurs, pros and kids just starting out are well received and supported.
This is a specialist shop and an independent shop that develops its own tricks as well as reselling more standard fair. Spending your money here keeps a landmark London shop going.....and we've lost so many over the years.

I have shopped at International Magic for 30 years.
I got to know Ron and his wife and of course Martin their son who now runs it.
I have spent many hours in the shop which is an Aladdin's cave of everything magic.
I have always felt I was among friends when visiting the shop and can whole heartily recommend a visit. If you can’t visit their shop the website has an abundance of amazing tricks for sale , some even have an accompanying video to demonstrate the trick in question.

I visited the store on Monday after not having worked around the area for about 10 years, when I used to pop in and look around and have a chat. As I'd remembered it, the staff were very funny and engaging, and showed me a couple of tricks of course! One of which I ended up buying! A historical store in London, very interesting to browse around and chat with the staff inside who are great magicians in their own right - Well worth a visit!!

Went with my 11 year old son. Barry was so kind in showing us multiple tricks and talked to my son about what interested him. I think we must have spent an hour there. It’s a great place for budding magicians or just people that like playing cards. They have hundreds! We had a fabulous time and will definitely be back. If you are in the area do pop in it’s part of London’s and Magic’s history.

I like this place, they have been doing magic for many many years and really know what is right for all age groups.
They diligently work out what trick is right for each age group, showing it and teach the person how to use it. If you care about magic is beautiful and a great service.
I have have come here for over 20 years, they have always been experts at magic and they still are.
I hope this place continues for years and years and years.

This is a neat little shop. I visited by chance - I was passing, and the dusky interior seemed to beckon me in.
The shop is packed - every wall, shelf and table is covered with novelties, books or magic tricks. It is a tiny shop, but just full of stuff. It is very old fashioned looking, and some of the stock looks like it's been there forever, but in a good way (if you know what I mean) - it really is a flavour of yesteryear.
When I went in, there was an older gentleman performing card tricks with great aplomb. He was charming, involved his audience (me, a mum and her child of around

This is a lovely friendly little shop, run by people with a passion for magic. It does stock both ends of the market. At the lower end you've got the tackier stuff, like fake moustaches, devils horns and fake sick. At the other end they do serious magic stuff: instruction manuals and media, and boxed tricks. In a package you'll get all the props needed to perform a professional-looking magic trick. I've found they are good at advising on what to buy. Apparently they also run magic courses. Of course the shop is only small, so nothing big like cabinets for chopping people in half
