Services
What do you have in terms of equipment and seakers that we are able to use? We have a PA system with speakers/ microphones which you can either put a play list through or a DJ/Band can attach their own equipment. This is portable and can be set up in and outside. Staff will be on hand on the day to move it where you require and set it up.
Higher Eggbeer is venue only, which means you have complete control of your wedding/party. The hire of the venue from Friday noon until Monday noon or midweek from Tuesday noon to Thursday noon. We are licenced for the solemnization of civil marriegas and registration of civil partnerships, there is a choice of outside and inside, the cost for this will be 500.
Higher Eggbeer has 9 Bell tents, all with a double bed and five with a further two singles, all beds are futons doubling up as seats. The cost will be 50 per night for each tent, bedding not included. They will be very cosy inside ready for you to use. There is also a bridal shepherds hut with a double bed, linen and heating provided which is 100 per night.
Many people are shying away from the traditional wedding and are looking for a truly different and original venue. I believe that here we have created this. Stepping inside our barn is likened to travelling back through time. The farm, mentioned in the Doomsday book is steeped in history and the barn is wonderfully traditional, having stood still in time it seeps rustic charm and leaves you feeling cocooned in a warm cosy atmosphere.
Higher Eggbeer has the wonderful advantage of an stunning outdoor heated swimming pool. If there were awards for pools in picturesque locations then surely ours would be a contender. The pool has a constant depth of 1.40M and is 12M x 5M in size and can be heated to a constant temperature of 28 degrees.

We got married at higher eggbeer on the 15th September. It was the most magical day which is all thanks to Ali and his team! Our guests had only nice things to say about the venue. We booked for a Tuesday to Thursday and had our family stay with us the Tuesday night, we cooked a load of food and had the pool open. Our wedding was on the Wednesday and it went off without a hitch, Ali even popped in during the day to congratulate us! I would recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding! Thanks Ali!

Great day at Eggbeer Farm. Staff were warm and friendly. Facilities were clean and accessible. The farm itself is only 1 mile from the A30 so is easily accessed though farm track for the last bit! Parked in the field which was fine for a warm end of March wedding. Loads of space for all the guests to wander and mingle. Chapel was lovely, see pictures, barn for food with a hog roast was as expected. All in all we were perfectly catered for and looked after at the farm... Highly recommended. The only down side would be there were only 2 toilets for a large group could be a bit of a problem?!

With wonderful views and it very well maintained camp site, Eggbeer farm is the perfect venue for a wedding and camping. The outdoor pool is warm and the barn is spacious for a meal and then a dance floor. I've never know one man work so hard like the owner who pretty much single-handedly maintained the site. I highly recommend and I would love one day to return.
