Services
Established in 1970, Chappell Engineering is located in Stroud, Gloucestershire adjacent to the M5 with ideal connectivity across the UK and its airports and ports. It relocated in 2013 to a 1100 square metre purpose built factory which together with its state of the art machine platform represented a 5 Million Pounds investment.
Dimensional inspection is undertaken using latest generation of Coordinate Measuring Machines in a dedicated inspection facility by trained / qualified technicians. All inspection and test equipment is subject to a calibration regime including external certification of equipment, gauges and test blocks in accordance with ISO.9001 guidelines.
Chappell Engineering have invested heavily in multi axis machining centres targeted at high complexity, close tolerance machining. In house programming capabilities using the latest software technology and communications protocols enable its customer to load programmes directly onto the machines were required.
Chappell Engineering provides for many of its customers a proactive manufacturing and storage solution. Recognising that one time programming and set up costs impact the manufacturing costs and the absorption of these over extended production runs reduces cost to customer, a consigned product option whereby finished product is held on shelf enabling rapid response to demand.
The company is taking advantage of the issuance of ISO.9001:2015 and has upgraded to a certified Integrated Management System encompassing the requirements of ISO.9001:2015 (Quality), ISO.14001:2015 (Environmental) and ISO.45001:2018 (Health & Safety). Compliance with international codes of practice and regulations such as Conflict Minerals is a commitment of Chappell Engineering.
