Born and raised in Lyon, Southern France, Jerome is the driving force behind the trade arm of our business. With a back ground in the hospitality industry, having worked in restaurants in France, the US and UK in many roles from manager to chef, he has the knowledge of what is needed to make the wine side of any restaurant successful.

Jerome, like most Frenchmen, is a great lover of good food and great wine. Originally from Chichester in West Sussex, Mat is our Community Development Manager. With a background originally in restaurants Mat has worked with or around wine for most of his adult life. A keen lover of dessert wines he can always offer excellent advice on which wine will complement a particular dessert.

Wine is great. Food is over priced tinned produce and over dressed to high prices. Drink but don’t eat.

Great wine shop and cellar. So good to have expert advice in choosing a wine. The selection was vast and can accommodate all budgets from £6 upwards. Was nice to be encouraged to try something different, I find it so easy to stick to Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc but some new French suggestions were brilliant.
