Love Yoga is situated in the heart of Aberdeen, on Union Terrace, opposite the Central Library. A bright and airy space, it provides an oasis of calm in an increasingly crazy world. We've been closed throughout lockdown, but are re-opening now with a in -person timetable, as well as continuing some online classes (see our online timetable here).
We have classes in a variety of styles and strengths, you can choose from Mysore style morning sessions, lunchtime yoga classes, and a variety of evening classes from Beginner's classes to strong Vinyasa Yoga to deeply relaxing Yin Yoga. There are classes to suit all levels and beginners are always welcome, as well as the option of 1:1 yoga sessions.

Services
We are committed to developing and growing personally through the practice and study of Yoga, as well as other positive practices. The benefits of Yoga are so noticeable and life changing, that we've taken it into our daily lives. This enthusiasm and ongoing experience is something we want to share and make available to anyone with an interest in finding out about yoga.
Ashtanga Basics: Ashtanga is a strong physical practice that coordinates breath and movement in a set series of postures. This class introduces students to the beginnings of the 'primary series', focusing on details and helping them come to grips with of a series of fundamental yoga postures, as well as building strength, toning, improving focus and quietening a busy mind.
This is actually a huge question and any answer we give here is the merest skimming of the surface, but, commonly in the West, it's often used to refer to a set of physical exercises or postures (asanas) which have a myriad of impacts including re-aligning, re-energising, de-stressing and improving the wellbeing of your body.
A yoga therapy session with Rebecca involves a consultation to chat about what's going on for you, and what you'd like to get from your yoga practice, as well as a short check of your body and alignment to give Rebecca a whole picture of what's best for you. Rebecca then designs your practice and takes you through it.
