Nortons is one of Sheffield's oldest companies established in 1844. We are celebrating over 175 years in business. We offer you the benefit of our professional experience and personal approach. Within our large showrooms we display multi-fuel, gas and electric stoves, decorative beams, mantles a selection of fire side accessories.

We have the best in traditional cast iron range cookers and contemporary range cookers. With cookers from all major manufactures, AGA, Rayburn, Rangemaster, Smeg, Belling, Everhot, Stoves, Britannia and Delonghi. You can be assured that our showroom team can provide all the help and guidance to find the best appliance for you whether it be a range cooker or room heating stove.
Services
Distinctive, efficient, highly versatile and available in an amazing choice of colours, our modern range cookers will enhance your cooking. You can now choose a totally flexible and controllable cast iron range cooker that will transform your kitchen into a warm and welcoming space. Today's Rayburn Range cookers are also able to provide cooking only or provide cooking, central heating and domestic hot water.
With an electric stove there is no need for a flue. You can safely sit a stove directly on a carpet or wooden floor, the only installation required is plugging into a socket. Electric stoves will convect 1kW or 2kW of heat into the room, thermostatically controlled for lasting comfort, enough to take the chill out while the central heating is warming up.
We also offer chemical power flushing of central heating systems which increase effeciency and longevity and to protect your system. Our engineers are Gas Safe, OFTEC (Oil) and HETAS (Solid Fuel) registered and members of the Rayburn Guild of Engineers. We recommend that your appliance has a regular service in accordance with manufacturers guidelines.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - UNRELIABLE AND DISRESPECTFUL STAFF
Absolutely shocked and utterly appalled by this company. I made an appointment, waited 5 days, then Joe the engineer did not turn up or have the decency to call me to say he wasn't coming. I had to ring Norton's and the next available appointment is in 8 days time. Steve the person on the end of the phone was incredibly rude and put the phone down on me.

We wanted to support our local business's so called at Nortons to look at Range Cookers we decided to purchase one from them as they said they would match the internet price plus we were told they would deliver free
when we received the invoice through the post my wife noticed it was a 1 person delivery and for a 2 person it would cost £60 also if the drive was gravel it would be left on the pavement as i had just had surgery I told them i would have cancel our order they said as an gesture of goodwill they would do a 2 person delivery free
When the cooker was unpacked for fitting the gas engineer

I rang the shop to arrange a log burner installation survey, first impressions were very good, the chap I spoke to seemed very competent and business-like. An appointment was made for the following Monday between 3 and 4 PM and this is where is all started to go wrong. We'd got a busy afternoon and evening with guests coming for dinner, by 5.15 still nobody had arrived. At 5.20 the installer rang me to say could he come at 5.50, nearly three hours later than the appointed time. I asked why on earth he'd not rung me to say he was going to be late, it is common courtesy after all. I received the

Called to enquire about a replacement ash tray for our multi fuel stove which we'd purchased from them last Aug.
When Steve heard he very kindly offered to call the manufacturer for me, the end result - new ash tray getting sent under the warranty.
Fantastic customer service - above and beyond! Very much appreciated.

Nortons have serviced our Aga for a number of years. At 29 years of age she unexpectedly went to sleep! The diagnosis was serious as the broken part is no longer made. A conversion to modern innards was the only solution. This could not be completed until the following week so we braced ourselves for more camp cooking and no hot water. Imagine our delight to receive a call saying that Joe had volunteered to come (on his day off) and complete the work the very next day! Absolutely amazing service and so very much appreciated.

It's got everything you need for a stove but I've been there a few times now and I never find the staff particularly welcoming. They quietly follow you around in a slightly offputting way. Also I asked a question and the lady said, "I don't know - I've never owned a log burner". Which of course begs the question, why work somewhere selling log burning stoves? Anyway, minor grumble. I did get some advice from someone else. If you want a log burning stove or range cooker, it seems a good place to go.

I bought my first log burner from Steve at Nortons, it's a Contura 35L a lovely fire. The fire arrived at my house with a cracked door, they couldn't have been more helpful, a new door was ordered and arrived as promised. Every phone call was answered and they were so helpful, everyone i spoke to was.
I couldn't recommend this company enough! What a lovely change!!

We haven’t made our purchase as of yet but so far we are really impressed with the service. Marion was very helpful and knowledgeable with regards to the Rayburn and I feel confident for when we do place our order (we have to home a home survey first) a very refreshing experience being as it’s quite a big investment.

Went to get some advice and order a replacement for our aging Rangemaster with a nice new one in Cranberry. We got some information but staff really didnt seem vaguely interested, the deal breaker was they would only offer 1 man delivery (for a >100kg cooker!). Price wasn't an issue and we would have prefered to use a local company. Ended up spending our money elsewhere, got 2 man delivery and disposal of our old cooker, neither of which Nortons seemed to want to help with. Cooker looks lovely, cant fault Rangemaster products
