I commenced my practice as a Solicitor in Leighton Buzzard in 1985. Following my appointment as a Notary Public in 1988 I am able to certify and/or authenticate necessary documentation relating to overseas transactions (business or personal), marriage or employment overseas or any other matter with an international dimension.
Very occasionally I am asked to notarise documents for use in England and Wales and I can do so. I have acquired a strong reputation in Bedfordshire for my personal and professional service. I take pride in always providing clear and easy to understand advice for my Clients, whether in my offices or at your home or business location.

If you documentation needs further legalisation from the UK Foreign Office and/or the Embassy of the Country concerned, I will be happy to arrange this if you wish.
If you're taking a job abroad and your employers need education certificates or true copies of them notarially certified I can deal with this for you. I'll need to see the original certificates and usually have to check their authenticity with the institution concerned. I will then be able to certify the documents and obtain any necessary UK Foreign Office and/or Embassy legalisation required if you wish.
If you're getting married abroad, it's likely that the authorities in the country concerned will require notarised copies of birth certificates, any relevant divorce decree absolute ending a previous marriage, together with a formal declaration confirming that you and your fiance are free to marry each other.
If you are buying, selling or mortgaging property abroad it is very common for the Lawyers acting in the foreign country concerned, to require a Power of Attorney to be granted to them by you in England, authorising them to act on your behalf and deal with all the formalities. This Power of Attorney will be require to be notarised as may other documents in the transaction.
