Andrew Rhys Evans Optometrists was established in 1988. At this time, Andrew took over the practice from Ray Mills with an aim to continue the emphasis on clinical eye care. Based at the bottom of Cricklade High Street, we are a valued part of the community. We have always served as a 'House Practice', lending locals a welcome alternative to mainstream spectacle shops by providing a familiar client-optician relationship.

We can take care of most simple spectacle repairs, from the replacement of nose-pads and screws to the re-fitting of frames. If your glasses were purchased from us, then minor repairs such as nose pads, side tips, screws and adjustments are complimentary throughout their long life. More signifigant repairs such as broken sides, or bridge can be repaired at a cost.

I had an emergency situation and found Andrew Rhys practice through an online search. Luck was on my side and I was able to secure a last minute appointment same day. Dr. Rhys was exceptional and truly knowledgeable, well-experiences optometrist who invests in state of art technology. He was able to help me and also now he gained a loyal new customer! Not to mention that the staff were very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend their clinic.

Andrew showed great care and experience whilst conducting the various stages of my most recent eye examination. He was extremely informative, taking the time to talk through my results with me step by step. The staff at the practice were warm and accommodating, finding room to fit me in at very short notice for my eye examination. Highly recommended.

A wonderful practice that I highly recommend! As someone that gets nervous before an eye examination, Andrew made the experience very relaxed and easy. The staff are friendly and professional and you feel that they are genuinely invested in your eye health. I would 100% reccomend for anyone in Cricklade and the surrounding areas. 10/10
