Smart Zones are the combination of multiple data gathering devices into one or more systems or assets, with the data from these devices being communicated back to our IoT platform and cloud based servers via a single communications hub. The technology was originally developed for flow monitoring devices, temperature sensors, and drinks retailing.

Doing the best they can in a difficult market - licensed trade - and releasing new online functionality to vending machine suppliers. Seems there could be a huge diversification of the markets they operate in, so potential opportunities.
Pay is around the low end of average, benefits not spectacular, no bonuses for Technology staff, holidays in line with what you'd expect. Likely to be more fun to work there when lockdown is lifted.
Some of the nicest folk I've ever worked with, plus, some you'd murder in a heartbeat, pretty much like every office.

Bad management and poor mental health awareness. Tried to discipline people for not adhering to a policy that didn't exist, then tried to cover it up by creating one and claiming it had always existed. Poor management of teams leading to discrepancies in the way everyone worked. A lot of office politics and affairs between staff. Unobtainable targets for a very poor wage, for example, they changed our job description from "data analyst" to "customer service advisor" to avoid paying us the market rate of a data analyst.
