Skip hire Sussex - 2 cubic yards (1.53 cubic metres) - Equivalent to 20 bin liners - Our mini skips are the smallest we provide. Ideal for small home or garden work and will easily fit into the smallest of drives or small gardens. Please note that we don't provide mini skips to some postcodes.
4 cubic yards (3.06 cubic metres) - As these skips are twice the size of our mini skips, they can hold the equivalent of 40 bin bags of waste and are also suitable for soil and rubble or most small home projects in Sussex.Skip hire Sussex - 8 cubic yards (6 cubic metres). Another very popular choice and extremely well suited to larger domestic projects.

Our Sussex caged lorry hire service is an excellent alternative to hiring a skip and can often work out cheaper too. We're experts in waste management and can remove any amount of rubbish both quickly and efficiently. We're fully insured and are registered with the Environment Agency as a licenced waste carrier.
If you're planning to place the skip on your own private land, you won't need a permit. If you intend to have it situated on a road or on other public land, you'll probably need a permit. In many cases, we can apply for the permit on your behalf, although some local authorities require that you contact them yourself to arrange one.

Terrible service and customer support - firstly they over charged me, then refused to confirm the booking in writing and then ended up saying they don't delivery to Hastings when their website (and SEO) is all targeted around Tastings TN35 postcodes, now i"m left last minute without a skip - no apology, no explanation just rude people.

I used this company in August 2020 and they were excellent and really good value for money. However when getting a quote recently I discovered they have raised their prices over 200% in the last year! Whilst I understand that COVID has put a lot of pressure on businesses - individuals has also been affected so to raise prices this much just seems like a despicable and greedy move. I would strongly suggest trying another company.

Wish I had read the reviews!!
Skip arrived on site as expected. We filled the full eight yard skip on that day.
Now the hard bit.
The skip was blocking deliveries and was told 7 days at least before collection!!! I couldn’t believe it.
10 days later still there and a nightmare with incoming deliveries.
I called and vented politely my anger.
The girl in the office couldn’t understand why I was upset, and as only an arrogant person can, explained she would hang up if I so much as raised my voice!!!!!!
Believe it or not the Driver arrived the next day and explained the two girls at the

Do Not Use This Company. They are terrible, do not pick up the skip when promised, tell lies as to why skip was not collected on 3 different days, would not place skip where the driver was asked to. The transport manage as he called himself was sooo very rude. No customer care at all. I would never use this so called friendly family run company again. Steer Clear!!!

I used Expert Skip Hire after being recommended by my builder. They were quick and flexible with organising the skip hire. I have had a second skip since and their service was fantastic. They were able to get a replacement skip out to me quickly when I desperately needed it. The driver was incredibly friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this local skip company and will be recommending to anyone in need of a skip.

Drivers are friendly, well mannered and helpful. However the office staff (the ones I spoke to at least) can be rude and arrogant. I Phoned to have the skip collected and no one turned up on the agreed date a week later. They then told me that they had no recollection of me calling so I re arranged again for next day, no one turned up. I then Arranged for next day again, no one turned up. Then when I phoned to complain the lady on the phone immediately started yelling and threatened to “not pick it up at all”. Not very professional if you ask me. Very pleased with collection service today. The driver was on time, cheerful and efficient, and in reply to my questions kindly explained what would be done with the various items in regard to recycling. I chose this company, not on price, but because they are registered with the Environment Agency, so I knew they could be trusted to deal properly with the load and not just dump it somewhere. Office management team (J.A.) also very helpful and efficient.

First skip I had okay but took over a week to collect. Second time I was phoned on Saturday morning telling me they are picking the skip up even though I hadn’t finished with it. I explained that I have been in lockdown and the skip wasn’t quite ready as I’d been waiting for work to be finished. The girl on the phone was rude no people skills. Told me basically tough we are picking it up. I thought they could have given me a bit more notice. I use quite a few skips during a year as I run a business in the building industry. I won’t be using this company again.
