There are goats and chickens on the farm, so if you are up early enough, you can help yourself to some fresh eggs or wander around the stables.
We have also a safe children's play area, including at large field where you can play football or any other sport, or just enjoy a picnic whilst the kids play. Guests have access to the 230 acres of land, which includes the River Avon, where you can do a spot of fishing (a license is required). Take a walk through the farmland and you reach the local pub, which is situated on the bank of the river.

Avon Farm Cottages are well positioned with an abundance of space surrounding the five luxury holiday cottages. All six properties are all equipped with everything you should need to make your vacation extremely enjoyable and relaxing! There are all the standard cooking facilities; electric oven/hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, plus a dishwasher, and washing machine in the Barn and all our cottages.

The Tythe Barn interior has attractive wooden floors throughout, underfloor heating, plus an authentic wood burner and large television in the living area, plus an extra TV in bedroom 2.

Tythe Barn is a fantastic property in a secluded rural environment. It is immaculately clean and has all the facilities you could expect in a property of this nature including all the required kitchen equipment and gadgets.
Bedrooms are an excellent size and the bathrooms are modern with excellent showers.
The garden is secluded and has a large hot tub that can comfortably accommodate more than 4 adults.

The cottage we stayed in was immaculate and so beautiful. The farm itself was also so lovely and nice to walk around. The extra touches in the cottage were very much appreciated, and being able to pick up fresh eggs for breakfast each morning was a real treat. The cottage was also very close to Bath by taxi.

Our stay was incredible. The location is fantastic; we walked the farm upon arrival and made our way along the river to a couple of pubs. Our evenings were well-spent in the hot tub after long days walking Bath and Saltford. There was a welcome basket with everything to get us started and it was spot on! The bedrooms were great, although there is a low ceiling upstairs but nothing to worry about. We will definitely be going back!
