Good selection but could do with some Aussie beers which is hard to find in this city. Could do with some VB, Coopers or some James Boags. (Maybe to difficult get due to limited availability and the pandemic) but just voicing my opinion if it is at all possible to get some.

Until recently I was lucky enough to live just round the corner from the Beerhive and enjoyed popping in and getting some recommendations for beers and wines. Since I moved I've missed visiting but the friendly folks there were so helpful over email when I asked for a parcel of IPAs to be put together for a friend's Christmas present. 10/10 would recommend!

I live locally and am the organist at the local church so I walk past this shop all the time - I should visit more often. Always friendly service and genuine, non-patronising advice. Thanks for helping me pick wines for Christmas presents. Much appreciated

Great local off license. Famous for the beer options but the wine selection equally as good. Not huge but you get the impression that a lot of thought went into selecting them. As a varied selection from around the world. The Australian and the Portuguese reds were really well put together reds. Thumbs up from the critics at home.

The Broughton area is not short on off-licenses but this little place on Rodney Street is always my go to.

There is a great selection of beers; plenty of which are chilled and in a fridge cabinet. There's always something a little bit unusual which I haven't come across before, so a visit here is an opportunity to try something new. I've bought a keg from them in the past for parties and also never had any complaints.

The staff here know their stuff. Not just on beer but on wine and spirits also. I often walk on here not having a clue what I want and asking for a recommendation

The best bottle shop in all of Edinburgh! The Beerhive I would say has the biggest range of beers I have ever seen! And at front of shop is a keg to fill up bottles of draft beer and take away, they also have a big range of wines. The staff are very friendly and love to help, The Beerhive prices are cheap... I would never shop in any other bottle shop because of there prices being to high! The Beerhive is always a fun shop to visit!

This is a proper bottle shop, with an owner who really knows his stuff and is happy to advise and share his huge enthusiasm for what he's selling. As a real ale fan, I have to say that the beer selection really is fantastic - from Scottish to European (haven't seen Gambrinus for sale since I left Prague!) to American, light, dark, amber, wheat, fruit, stout and everything in between.

Competitively priced, too, and always some special offers and discounts available.

I'm so happy to have this as my local bottle shop, especially as Fergus is allowed in!
