Services
Newborn Sessions are booked in before little one arrives. We can then amend the session date if needed after little ones arrival. The Newborn Photography Session is styled prior to your appointment. Once little one is here we'll talk though your favourite poses, colours & props. This enables me to style your newborn session for you.
1st Birthday Sessions usually consist of three setups & all the outfits, styling & props are provided. Typically we do one setup of little one playing, crawling & interacting, then the Cake Smash & then we finish with a bubble bath in our little roll top bath. If you wish to have a cake smash as part of your 1st Birthday Session the cake is included.
The Baby Studio is at 16 Forest Road, Meols, Wirral. It was designed to be open plan so you can watch your little one throughout their session. The backdrop is 12 ft which allows babies who are on the move the freedom to play & crawl. Welcoming families from all over the North West including Wirral, Liverpool, Cheshire, Chester and Wales.
As a Newborn Photographer my main priority is your child's safety. Many of the images you see on my website are composites. Were several images are put together to create the final works of art you see. Some times you may be asked to sit close to your little one while I take a step back to capture the shot.
Newborn sessions are best booked in before baby arrives. Most newborn sessions take place within the first few weeks whilst they are still so new, sleepy & curly. Most people book in just after their 12 week scan. Yes you can but sometimes I'm already booked up, get in touch soon & I'll update you with the next space or you can think about having a Sitting Session when your baby is 6 months.

I have been going to Kate for over 3 years. We started off with a newborn session, 1st birthday cake smash and yearly photos of my son and daughter. The studio is absolutely amazing and so clean. Kate is brilliant with the kids they absolutely love her and always come away with balloons or bubbles. The moments that she captures are nothing but amazing. I had a maternity shoot with Kate near the very end of my pregnancy and as anybody knows how you feel at the very end she made me feel so comfortable and at erase, from my maternity shoot once my baby was born I had a new born photo shoot at one week old, Kate was so amazing in every single way with the baby I cannot even describe her they is that many amazing things to say about her!!! one year on I have just been for a 1 year cake smash, Kate again was absolutely amazing with Vincent we absolutely love her and her work would never go to anyone else ! Definitely recommend and can’t wait to see

We took our baby girl for her first photo shoot with Kate last week and couldn't recommend her enough!! Our baby is 7 weeks early and still premature, Kate handled her incredibly and kept her calm the whole time, she slept right through. Kates work is unbelievable and photo quality is like no other, we are over the moon with our images. See you next year Kate!!

From my very first enquiry to Kate, she was so friendly yet professional in her responses. I booked a shoot for my son and she couldn't have been any more welcoming if she tried. Her studio is spotless with such a gorgeous range of clothing. My step daughter joined us and Kate made such a fuss of her, making sure she felt just as special as my son. I never felt rushed during our session and her attention to detail is spot on. Kate's turnaround time for us to receive our photos was amazing. The quality of her photos are brilliant and I can't wait to book another session with her for his first birthday

Wow, where do I start? We chose Kate to photograph our little man as not only was she recommended by a friend her work really shone out!! We missed out on a newborn shoot due to covid, but Kate fitted us in as soon as restrictions lifted so we had a milestone session!! We had a maternity photo shoot a couple of months ago with Kate and took our new born baby girl back for a photo shoot last week. Both times Kate was so professional and friendly. Kate spent time chatting with me to decide which style photos I liked and even did some research to show me more ideas on the day. She was able to bring the date of the newborn shoot forward as baby arrived a week early and really took her time whilst photographing. She was so patient when the baby wanted feeding and was so gentle with her when she was posing her for photos - baby was clearly very comfortable with Kate

An amazing experience from start to finish. The moment we entered the studio we felt so at ease with the beautiful atmosphere that Kate had created. Watching Kate with our newborn was brilliant - her calming nature and professionalism kept our baby happy throughout the entire session - we didn’t hear one peep out of our baby girl! As first time parents it was incredible to witness! As we sat and watched the photos being taken we felt very involved as Kate asked us to choose outfits and positions for the baby.
