Tarmac driveways are highly durable, water permeable and can be combined with block paved edging to create a highly attractive finish.
Block Paving also known as brick paving is a commonly used decorative method of creating a pavement or hard-standing. They can be used for domestic and commercial purposes. The main benefit of using bricks over other materials is that individual blocks can be lifted and replaced when they become worn or get damaged.
Resin-bound driveways are made by mixing a high-tech resin with gravel materials, these are evenly mixed to create a consistent mixture that is then spread out along the driveway. Between these gravel materials, many small gaps allow water to pass through into the ground, which in turn helps to ensure good drainage, and a safer driveway in cold or frosty weather conditions.
Tarmacadam, usually called Tarmac, is a strong, durable and weather-resistant surfacing made up of crushed stone coated in tar. It enables very good grip and is good at deterring ice & snow build up in cold weather conditions, making it safer than other choices. Compared to Asphalt, it is also less prone to damage by fluctuating weather conditions.
