CNC punching is one of the profile forming methods that Technicraft can offer. Using its state of the art punch press, complex components can be produced simply and efficiently in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
With the ability to also form features such as hinges, louvres, coining and counter sinking, and with a hit rate of 320 hits per minute, this process can lend itself to being the most cost effective method of producing many types of components.

Since the first introduction of CO2 lasers in the 1970s, Technicraft has evolved along with the technique itself to enable fast and precise laser profiling. With both 2KW and 4KW machines, the processing of 20mm mild steel, 15mm stainless steel and 10mm aluminium is easily achieved on sheets up to 3m x 1.5m.
Press work is undertaken using the choice of 5 CNC press brakes varying in size and capacity from 1m to 3m in length. 150 tonnes of linear bending capacity is available for all types of material to be processed. Full CNC control enables high quality and repeatability with continuous in-process laser dimensional checking.
With the availability of its own NC and CNC tube bending facilities, Technicraft can offer quality tube bending. Multiple stack tooling allows for both draw bending and tube rolling within the same product cycle. Offline machine programming and simulation confirms the capacity to bend both simple and complex components prior to full production commitment.
