We are an independent mental health user led, involvement, peer support and advocacy organisation. Listening and giving people a voice by opening up conversations about mental health and emotional wellbeing, is at the heart of our organisation. We do this by gathering peoples stories and providing a platform so their stories can be heard.
We believe that peoples individual stories empower service user leadership which is essential to improve services and to make a difference to the experience of others. We report peoples' experiences in our publication 'Making Our Voice Count' which is presented to strategic leaders, mental health providers and the Care Quality Commission, informing decision making.

Our Trustee Board plays a vital role in ensuring that SUF is managed to the highest standard, promoting transparency, ensuring good governance, and driving forward our strategic objectives. Our Trustee Board meets about eight times a year. The Board dates are included in our the events calendar and a chairs update is provided after each board meeting to SUF members.
We believe that the voices of mental health service users and family carers should be at the heart of all mental health care service design, delivery, review and transformation. Coproduction is about valuing people and their lived experience, seeing this as a real asset in how we shape and design services.
We need your help so we can be there for people in our communities, giving peer support and sharing valuable resources, including the Stay Alive App, for suicide prevention. DONATE by post - Send a cheque to Suffolk User Forum, Unit 3 Grange Business Centre, Tommy Flowers Drive, Kesgrave, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP13 5BY.
