Southclay is perfect for family holidays, for groups of friends or special celebrations. Rated as 5 star GOLD by Quality in Tourism, the assessment service for VisitEngland. It has 5 spacious bedrooms, two en-suite, sleeping 10 (+ 2 on small mattresses in one of the twins by arrangement with the owner) and with travel cot if needed.
Fabulous facilities make these properties stand out from the crowd. Private hot tubs; tennis court; outdoor swimming pool (heated Easter-October); table tennis; private patios with large gas barbecue for "al fresco" dining; pool table AND MUCH MORE! We had an amazing weeks holiday at the Annex, the cottage had everything we needed and kids loved playing in the pool. We managed to keep active with the tennis court, table tennis and some lovely walks, but… relaxing in the hot tub and watching the beautiful sunsets was a highlight. Jacquie was really helpful and happy to recommend places to visit and eat out.

Just returned from a lovely week at Southclays staying in the main house. The location is great and the views are stunning. We had perfect weather to enjoy the pool and the hot tub and spent a lot of time in the gardens and on the tennis court. The house is very well equipped and we had everything we needed. Downstairs is very nice but we all felt that upstairs is in need of modernising and a few touch ups. But we had a great week and Jacquie was very helpful.

A great house for a large family that can cater for a range of adults and children and, if properly controlled, dogs. We have been a few times and like the amenities: pool table, share of swimming pool with the next door annex and a hot tub. There are lots of different spaces so we can spread out or come together as we like. The kitchen is very spacious and extremely well-equiped. We like the wine cooler for example. The large gas barbeque, terrace and garden all make this an excellent base, with Croyde Bay not too far to drive to. The only negatives are that there could be a little more attention

We have just had the most wonderful week away at Southclay and annex. Jacqui couldn’t have been more welcoming and the warm Devon tea and Prosecco was a very grateful touch. The house has plenty of crockery,… and cooking additions for any type of catering. The pool and hot tub were beautifully clean. Beds and bedding were comfortable and crisp! Very efficient and helpful! Thank you for a wonderful week!!

Just back from a fabulous week spent with the family at Southclay. There were 13 of us so we were in both the annex and the house. We could not have wished for a better venue. The facilities are fantastic with the pool, hot tubs, tennis court and more. Not once did we hear “I’m bored” from any of the kids. Great base for getting out and about as well. Jacquie could not have been more helpful and was always on hand if needed. We could not recommend Southclay highly enough.

We have just returned from a week in the Annex - WOW, WOW, WOW what a fabulous place to spend a week visiting all the local North Devon attractions. The annex is superbly equipped and I am sure if there is anything you required, the owners would gladly assist. Great outdoor space, the Pool and Hot tub were awesome and only 20mins walk to an almost private beach with excellent crabbing for the Kids. We were truly made to feel very welcome - Thank you Jacquie & Steve

Wow!! Wow!! Wow!! My friends and I enjoyed the most amazing week in August at Southclays . The house is absolutely fabulous. The views are breathe taking and you start to feel relaxed the minute you step in the door.
There were seven of us and there was plenty of room for more!!
The pool and hot tub are fantastic, star gazing at night in the hot tub is a memory that will stay for a long time!!
