The Memorial Grounds at Castlecroft were purchased in the late 1940's and continue to provide the centre for the sporting and social activities. The Cricket and Football clubs continue to play most of their fixtures there, although, with the expansion of both bodies, cricket is also played at Danescourt, whilst the School do make their facilities available when football fixtures require additional pitches.
The Hockey Club, following the advent of Astroturf, is obliged to use the School and other facilities. There is a project under consideration which would enhance the facilities at Castlecroft, including the building of an astro-pitch, but, as yet, this scheme is still in its infancy.

Services
Old Wulfrunians Football Club runs three teams in the Birmingham & District A.F.A. using two superb pitches at our Castlecroft base. We are also looking out for people who would like to get involved with the running and organisation of the teams and people who just fancy coming to watch a good standard of local Saturday afternoon football.
Old Wulfrunians Tettenhall CC, founded in 1922, run 4 teams on a Saturday in the newly reorganised Staffs Clubs Cricket Championship. The 1st XI will play in Division 1, the 2nds in Division 3, the 3rd XI in Division 6 and the 4ths in Division 8. We can therefore, provide cricket for all abilities and, as we have a thriving Junior Section, all ages.

Apparently we needed supervision so we told the people at the club we had a 20 and an 18 year old with us but they said someone from the
