Fobbles is a new business developed by Beverley Trembath and recently joined by Edna Parr. Beverley has been involved with needlecrafts, particularly embroidery and beadwork, for many years - since being able to hold a needle! She was an active member of the local branch of the Embroiderers' Guild until its' unfortunate demise in 2005, spending nine years as programme secretary and also serving as Chairman for a year.
Another beautiful magazine from the Classic Inspirations team to celebrate the 100th issue! The new book from Tone Finnanger of Tilda: as the title suggests it is just the book for curling up with a mug of chocolate and leafing through the pages filled with cozy autumn and winter sewing projects! Sew In Love - the new book from Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts has arrived in the shop.
We are excited to announce, that Shepherd's Bush will be starting a new Shepherd's Fold after the first of the year. This Fold is going to be a delightful little sewing box filled with sweet and lovely necessities for the true stitcher. There will be an optional wooden sewing box available in a fabulous deep Shepherd's Plum color to keep your finished pieces safely tucked inside to be ready when you need them.
Gorgeous Gifts - If you are looking for gifts for your stitching friends and family then you should find something here to suit every budget from stocking fillers to more expensive gifts. We are always on the look out for different things and gorgeous must-haves for our sewing basket! Perhaps you might like to look here and choose things you would like to receive as a present too!

I came upon Fobbles purely by chance while searching for a book . I emailed the company, got a swift response and subsequently a phone call from Beverley. I had no idea at the time that the shop sold more than books! After a really lovely chat, I ordered an appliqué book I have been searching for for about three years, and not at a silly price that some sources were asking! My phone call was around midday on Monday, the book arrived at coffee time today, around 1030! How’s that for very swift service,and what a very pleasant person Beverley seems to be. Full marks for personal service
