Great little sandwich shop tuckd down an old alley. Lots of choice of sandwich filling for freshly baked bread, also do paninis and pasta. Nice to eat from an independent shop in Solihull

I had the afternoon tea today and it was delivered to my door and the service and food was excellent. Would highly recommend.

I went for a bacon and sausage sandwich and it did not disappoint. I would also recommend the pork bap which is on point. The employees are really friendly and polite. I would definitely go back!

Nicky provided a fantastic buffet for my daughter's birthday party. There were plenty of sandwiches and nibbles to suit our tastes. The quality was great, really fresh and tasty. EVERYONE commented on how good the buffet was. Very reasonable prices. Thank you so much!!!

I've just eaten the best Turkey bap in ages. A compact shop offering a wonderful selection of fresh foods. Really helpful, friendly staff. A must for anyone who's hungry or just need a snack & a cuppa.

I have used the Fat Sandwich for many years and I cannot fault it, the food is top quality the staff are very friendly and always up for a chat however busy, and Carols baps are the best in Solihull.

I love this sandwich shop. They do wonderful panini's and they do a stick brown cake that I think is made with cornflakes and treacle. Naughty but so so nice! The staff are very friendly. This is a small business that deserves its custom 👍 never change!

Food is perfect , really friendly staff , would defiantly recommend to others .

They have a wide variety of sandwiches and they always taste great. Their breakfast boxes are really good, I look forward to one on Fridays. Always fast service, although it can be worth ringing your order through before if you are going on a Friday morning, seems a few people have the same idea!

They do loadz of gud tasty stuff like crisps, sweets, fizzy pop and peanut butter, strawberry jam and banana sandwiches.takes me back to when I was a kid:)
I dont like all those coffee chains on the high street as this is dead cool just as I can go in there a bit hot and sweaty during my shift and feel at home. It could do with a freshening up inside the shop but that fine by me.
I asked if they can do battered mars bars hope the owner trials them soon to see if theres much interest apart from me so if you like the thought of these for lunch pls mention it!

Don't be discouraged by the title as they don't just sell massive sandwiches, they also make jacket potatoes, baguettes, paninis and more! The shop is in located in the middle of a small ally way (don't worry it's not dangerous) so the shop and outdoor seating area is very small. In fact they could just about fit two tables with four chairs outside and leave enough room for people to walk by.

Tucked down a side street branching off from the busy Solihull High Street, The Fat Sandwich Co. is one of my favourite hidden secrets that Solihull has to offer. As you can probably tell, they're a sandwich shop, and personally, I think they're the best that Solihull has to offer. Unlike many chain shops like Greggs that have diversified their products so wide that I can never really be sure what I'm going to find when I go in, the Fat Sandwich Co. keeps it simple - they just so sandwiches. What is diversified, however, is the range of fillings they offer, going above and beyond

I visited this place for the first time recently, after a prior engagement had been cancelled and I was in a hurry to pick up something quick and filling before I had to get back to work. The Fat Sandwich Co. offers a wide range of baguettes, sandwiches and rolls, plus jacket potatos and many other lunchtime favourites.


While I can't fault the swift service or the variety, I found the sandwich I was given had been messily prepared with a dollop of greasy cheese and some fairly enjoyable - if overpowering - onion marmalade. I didn't particularly rate the friendliness of the person serving

Freshly made, good quality sandwiches. Also serves crisps and drinks. I've visited this shop a good few times now, and never been disappointed. It can be busy at lunchtimes, but the staff work really quickly, and you never seem to have to wait too long.
