Thank you very much for the excellent work that your company did in erecting and taking away the marquee in our garden last week. The team was absolutely splendid. County Marquees was founded in 1989 by two brothers, Matthew and David Higgs. The company specializes in marquee hire for weddings, parties, corporate events and all types of outdoor occasions.

How big a marquee you will need depends on whether guests are seated or not, and extras. Our price lists include seated and buffet prices; and prices with and without simple flooring, lighting and lining. Alternatively, the quickest way to get an idea of costs is to use our online marquee quote. It is accurate, immediate and you can print or mail all quotes.

I can't tell you how pleased we were with the marquee in every respect. Your team of erectors were hard working and fun, and the interior looked truly spectacular. Our frame marquees range in width from 4 metres (14 foot) to 15 metres (50 foot) and can be pretty much as long as you like. A modern style of marquee.

So we aim to manage our part of your event professionally and efficiently so that you can enjoy your day. Marquees have a unique atmosphere. Set up, temporarily, for a single occasion, they are a space apart from normal life, embodying the specialness of an event. County Marquees supplies marquee hire, not marquee venues. The venue map and pages are provided as a courtesy service for clients and website visitors for convenience. But we do not in the normal course of events provide a marquee and venue package.

Marquee venues are priced in all sorts of different ways, from a simple ground hire charge covering just the land for a marquee, leaving you to choose and pay for all the other components of an event; to marquee wedding venues that only charge an all in price for everything - ground hire, exclusive use, civil ceremony, catering and all reception and event services.And every sort of variation in between is on offer.
