There comes a time in your journey with dementia when you realise that you simply can't cope at home anymore. Caring for someone with dementia is physically and mentally draining. So eventually you get to a point where you're simply exhausted. You know you need help but you feel that putting your loved one in a home is somehow letting them down and that they won't get the care, attention and love that you give them.
Bridlington Lodge is a small friendly care home where we're deeply passionate about your loved one being cared for just as you would care for them. Here at Bridlington Lodge, your loved one's well being is our main priority and as a result our services are tailored precisely to their needs. We provide 24-hour care in accordance to their individual care plan.
Taking care of someone who is living with dementia can be an extremely fulfilling and rewarding experience. However, it also demands a huge amount of dedication from you in both time and energy, especially if you wish to take care of them and repay the love and attention they have provided for you for many years.

If you find it hard to find free time to run errands, look after the family or just to take a break we believe we have the perfect solution for you. With our new day care service we'll look after your loved one at our specialist dementia care home leaving you free to do whatever you want.
You may visit them in their own room, in one of our communal areas or in our delightful garden, weather permitting. We have our own private car park. There is also parking in some side roads nearby and a public car park a very short walk away. What would happen should my relative need to see a doctor or have a hospital appointment?.
