AMD Computer Services is run by Alex McDonald, who recognised the need for a high quality computer supplies and service business in the area. Alex undertook the exacting Cerco Computer Engineer's Course and passed all fifteen exams with over 80% in each. Alex has also gained numerous further accreditations from most of the major manufacturers.
On passing his AST accredited engineer exam Alex gained the highest pass mark at the time in Britain with 198/200. Alex also provides Corporate support for a major PC manufacturer throughout Scotland and the North East. He is now a registered Microsoft OEM System Builder and spends some of his very limited spare time studying for further qualifications.
