Services
We maintain a positive approach to keeping children healthy and active at Lynton. We feel this is not only about a balanced diet, but also actively promoting an awareness and understanding of healthy habits. The children enjoy regular walks to the park to feed the ducks, dance and movement, and physical play.
Babies never fail to love our cosy, home like room where we provide the perfect introduction to nursery life. Babies can join us from birth where we have a comfortable staff ratio of 1:3. We can have up to 9 babies each day in the Baby Room. Our baby room is a wonderful sensory experience full of textures, comfort and creativity where they are encouraged to be freely creative.

My little boy has been at Lynton for over three years. He’s had a truly wonderful time there and it’s amazing how much he’s grown as a person. All the staff are caring, very passionate and professional. The homely atmosphere makes the nursery unique and very special. I’ve always felt reassured that my son is in safe hands and he would come home happy. Fantastic place for the little people!

This nursery is so unique, the staff really do go above and beyond. It’s definitely like a home from home feel at the nursery. The staff know all the children because it’s small and that brings a real warm and nurturing feel. The food is amazing, I will never beat it lol. The children are able to explore the lovely garden which is inviting and exciting. My little girl who is now 4 went and my little boy has just started. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. Thanks for all you hard work.

Lynton private day nursery is a small friendly nursery who can't do enough for the children. My youngest son moved there when his original nursery closed due to the first lockdown, at a time of high stress. They welcomed us both and helped him settle in so well. It feels like he has always been at lynton and he is so happy there I wish we had moved… earlier and I haven't even seen inside the building due to covid. My son comes home happy and exhausted every night and talks all the way home about what he has done with his friends. I would highly recommend lynton private day nursery x

Both our girls are in Lynton and absolutely love it. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to another parent. The staff are great and I know both girls see them as their best friends. Massive smiles from both the staff and the girls in the mornings on drop off leaves me very content. The activities the staff arrange for the… children are great. There's lots of outside play and exploration. I know some of the skills they have developed, Lynton have to take credit for. Also, there is great communication between staff and us as parents with each girl.x

Can't recommend highly enough! Lynton is such an amazing place to send your little one. The staff are all fantastic and put so much time and effort in to the children and their development! The building itself has such a homely vibe which is great for creating a 'home from home' environment for the little ones.

My children have attended Lynton since they were 9months old and even though they have only attended 1day a week the small, family feel has meant they have made friends and built strong relationships with all the staff, especially their key workers who have gone above and beyond to support them. My son is now in school but talks fondly of Lynton and the amazing fish pie that I still can't beat no matter how many times I try!

What can I say about Lynton that hasn’t been said before! It really is a home away from home!! Both our children attended this setting from around 8months and they settled very quickly. They enjoyed various activities and had a stimulating experience here, they always talked about what they had done. The children will miss the staff here as they formed such close bonds with them all! Thank you Lynton for making our children’s first experience of nursery wonderful!

Staff are excellent, caring, understanding and friendly. To drop off my grandson in floods of tears to going back an hour later to watch him happily playing outside trying to get him to come in so we could leave. Half an hour later having to go outside to get him in!!! Thank you so very much! One very happy grandma
