The Truro Auction Centre was formed in 1990 by local Auctioneer Martyn Rowe, setting up business in the centre of Truro. Business from the outset was extremely busy holding at least one auction a week with General Household Sales every Thursday and conducting specialised Antique & Picture Sales and Collectors Sales alternately each month.
The business moved in 2001 to Triplet Business Park, halfway between Chacewater and St. Day providing a large auction rooms with two main salerooms all on ground level with large car-parking for 150-200 cars. We are probably twice as busy at this current venue as we ever were in the centre of Truro and throughout the course of each year we sell over 30,000 lots by auction.

Services
We would suggest a visit to the property by the Auctioneer to establish what can be sold at auction and the best way forward. He will advise you of all saleable items which can be brought to the auction rooms, any items destined for a more specialised Auction and any items of an unsaleable nature which can either be disposed of by yourselves or by us at a cost to you.
Debit card payment preferred and we will still operate a safe "click-and-collect" type collection service to ensure safety at all times. We will be happy to answer any questions regarding the lots in each Auction and can give condition reports, sizes and estimates if required.

There is always such a huge selection of goods at this auction house. It's an excellent way to find that unique item that you never knew you needed!!! And as always, an auction bid is such an exciting part of the whole pitch to get your lot and take it home. The staff here are always so friendly and helpful. Happy days!!

Great place to buy all manner of stuff, including some very nice antiques and collectables on special sale days. The weekly general sales, on Thursdays, are a regular event for us: we largely furnished our house from them after moving to Cornwall two years ago. The staff are all very efficient, helpful and friendly and the auctioneer, Martin Rowe, never misses a hand up, or a nod - we love his style!.

I would endorse what the other reviewers have to say. I have been using this auction house since 2005, and have spent tens of thousands of pounds here. I have always found all the staff and the owner, Mr Martin Rowe, extremely pleasant and eay to deal with and very helpful at all times. Well worth using - just please don't outbid me.
