We're delighted to have opened our first solo show in the gallery with Contemporary Wilderness Painter Sam Gare. Lynsey MacKenzie has always been creative, and it was after studying a law degree that she decided to pursue her passion for painting, undertaking her a degree in Fine Art (Painting & Printmaking) at the Glasgow School of Art.

Ross Miller, known for his emotive and bold take on portraiture, kindly took the time to tell us more about his practice and show us the inner workings of his studio. Glasgow based artist Andrea McIlhatton Cardow specialises in screen printing. Her work looks at the impact of female beauty when contrasted against certain social and cultural portrayals of women.

Year after year we fully immerse ourselves in the wonderfully curious world of Scotland's top Art Schools, hunting the most inspiring and talented Graduates out there. If it stops us in our tracks, we want it on our walls. Don't worry about the buying an investment chatter just yet, but do know that some of these guys will make it, some are doing very well already, and they might just be on your wall when they do.

This is a wonderful small art gallery where one can see work by up & coming artists, sensibly priced & available to buy under the Own Art scheme. Aly & his staff are very welcoming & helpful. I strongly recommend a visit.

Looking good so far....interesting story about how the artist paints and I like the fact it's a ruggedy canvas. So does the framer as we're going off piste a bit!
