Mumford Engineering was established over 40 years ago, in 1973 to provide toolmaking and injection moulding to local companies in East Anglia. We've built a reputation for being a specialists engineering company with a can do will do approach to delivering a complete one stop service.

From our East Anglia injection moulding facilities we continue to improve quality and efficiency, adapt and innovate by investing in new machinery and technology. Like the BOY 22 A V our newest small vertical machine injection moulding machines, used especially for the fully automatic encapsulation of inserts or for continuous production lines.
Mumford Engineering provide a comprehensive service to manufactures from design to prototypes through to jigs and plastic injection mould tools. With in-house design facilities and manufacturing capability, we can provide a range of turnkey and bespoke solutions. Plastic mould tool and die manufacture is offered in-house providing you with cost effective mould-making and flexibility.
At Mumford Engineering we appreciate products and processes are critical to how something is made. When we build tooling for injection moulding parts, finish machining of these injection mould parts is performed by high calibre production personnel, fully trained in manufacturing injection mouldings.
We offer wire electrical discharge machining which is a process of wire-cutting which is used to produce intricate and delicate shapes in various materials with high accuracy. This is especially useful for plastic injection mould tool components or components that are otherwise impossible to machine.
