Services
We were established in 1989 as Sakura Communications. At that time Japanese companies were setting up factories in the North East of England and were looking to effectively communicate with the local, regional and national businesses and community. We became an immediate success in building up new relationships that took into account cultural sensitivities and an understanding of working environments.
Please select the service that you want to book below, and the appropriate booking form will appear. Please ensure that all required fields are completed in order to validate your booking. ITL has extensive experience in the translation of advertising literature, brochures and company documents, with a deep awareness of the linguistic and aesthetic styles of the various cultures. We know that a direct translation could go very wrong and pride ourselves in translating the "essence of the message" to ensure that our clients get it right first time every time.
ITL North East Limited provides interpreting and translation services on a national basis. We are looking for interpreters and translators situated throughout the UK to join our team of language specialists. All language groups are welcome as we currently provide services for over 250 languages from Arabic to Zulu.

Dangerous scammers making fun and not paying what was agreed. Reported them to HMRC to be fined and prosecuted. Received a call from Grace Bon Bon which is the boss of the company or so, she offered me to do a job and she promised me£ 18 per hour, £ 5 travel time per hour and my travel costs. They refused to pay me the travel time and travel costs after it making fun of me in their email so I wished them to get divine retribution and also legal retribution . They did not pay me £12.50 travel cost, did not pay me travel time 3 hours and as a result my payment was exactly £ 3 per hour. They paid

I have had nothing but bad experiences dealing with this company. The phones are often engaged or not answered, and it takes ages for them to connect you to the client. They are used by my GP surgery for telephone consultations. I think out of the 5 or 6 times I have tried to use them, only once has it been successful and even then the delays in getting connected lead to the surgery running extremely late.
Extremely unreliable and unprofessional.

I have been working for the company for about 6 months and have found it a pleasant place to work. The admin staff are very friendly and helpful when offering me work.
I am a professionally qualified interpreter but also a stay at home dad. ITL are flexible and have allowed me to work while the kids are at school and around my busy schedule.
I would like to thank them for the ongoing support!

I wouldn't mind giving you a 0 instead! These are thrives and fraudulent ppl, I am taking legal action against them. I wish I've read the reviews before working for them. I am a skilled interpreter/translator. They have sent me massive excel documents to translate with professional terminology, and they wanted it next morning, I stayed awake for it all night. They didn't pay me for the longest document and after months of complaining and contacting them, they apologised and said it hasn't been accepted as it is not well translated. Well the judge will let you know if its well translated or not

One of the best interpreting companies in the UK!
I have been working for them for 5 years in the legal, medical and private sectors. They have a variety of customers and staff are very friendly and helpful. They actually have an office you can visit, meet staff and ask any questions. Payments are prompt and rates of pay are very reasonable.
Keep up the good work ITL.

I have been working for the company for 13 years. I originally began with the company as an apprentice and worked my way up through the ranks through out the year. All of the staff are very supportive and care about helping people and the services provided.
Compared to bigger organisations each customer is given a personal tailored service. Apprentices are supported and the company goes the extra mile for interpreters by running courses leading to professional qualifications. The courses are not run for profit and many linguists begin on the path to become interpreters because of the company and

Have been working for this company for about 2 years now and quite happy with most of the things. Friendly staff, reliable management. Payments received mostly on time and they are always correct. Had a big range of different jobs with GP’s, Police, Councils, schools and community members. Lots of interpreting jobs over the phone (wouldn’t mind if pay rate was a bit higher).

This is a terrible company! They talk nicely when offering you a booking, but you need to beg them for your payment yet you still won't get it. Grace Tia Bon Bon gave empty promises. Don't be trapped if she tell you your pay rate increase. It's been over 2 years I stopped working for them and am still chasing after my payments. Unfortunately, they did not make any moves and still owe me hundreds pound.
ITL- interpreters are your company asset. If you don't treat your interpreters well, pay them, you will not be able to survive. Stealing money from Interpreters is not a way to help your company

Dreadful experience from start to finish - They didn't pay me for one session I did and another I spent up to 2 hours waiting for a client that didn't turn up because they failed to notify me. After telling the company I didn't want to work for them anymore and didn't need to work for them the employee refused to accept what I was saying and began to try and coerce me into working for them stating that 'many interpreters have second jobs'.
Since then I have told the business numerous times that I do not wish to be offered any jobs, I actually asked my partner to step in and speak to them as they
