I hold certificates in Facial and Abdominal reflexology, polarity and magnet therapies from the Scottish School of Reflexology(SSR). Besides having my own practice, I was a senior lecturer with the Scottish School of Reflexology for 14 years and have also taught complementary therapies at an advanced level at college.
All the therapies are beneficial for de-stressing the body and, therefore, will help all stress-related illnesses. About 80% of all illnesses are stress related. Sometimes it is a matter of your preference or which therapy best suits your needs because each client is treated as an individual. Abdominal Reflexology has proved very beneficial if you suffer from any digestive or back problems.
This is very important so that I can get to know you, your health, lifestyle etc. and also you can ask any questions and voice any concerns you may have regarding the treatments. As with all therapies, with the exception of Facial Reflexology, there are contra-indications and I need to make you aware of them.
