DSL Global Freight started life as Derwent Shipping & Logistics Ltd, founded by the current owners to provide specialist transportation and logistics for abnormal loads both in the UK and Worldwide. The Company soon extended services offered to general freight forwarding and project forwarding in response to customer requirements.
Managing abnormal loads (wide loads, specialist heavy haulage) and providing project forwarding services has been at the core of Derwent Shipping & Logistics (DSL Global Freight) since its inception. Few companies have the combined experience and expertise that is necessary to successfully carry out the efficient and safe movement of out-of-gauge cargo.
To ensure that goods in our care arrive in the condition they left, suitable and appropriate export packing is required to protect them. DSL Global Freight has the experience to provide an export packing service however big or small, delicate or robust the goods are, this includes surveying the cargo and designing packaging that meets the requirements of the environmental conditions of the journey.
As businesses grow, relocate or close, so do their machinery requirements. DSL Global Freight is able to assist with machinery removals and factory relocations.
