Our fleet of cranes includes all-terrain cranes and lorry mounted cranes from 7 tonne upwards, allowing us to supply cranes even where access is narrow or restricted. Services
As full members of the Construction Plant Hire Association (CPA), all our cranes are hired out according to their industry recognised terms and conditions. We can carry out lifts based on CPA Contract Lift terms or on CPA Crane Hire terms. Under the terms of CPA Crane Hire, responsibility for planning and supervising the lift remains with the customer, along with the insurance liability.
No job is too big for us though and we regularly undertake lifts where much larger cranes are required; planning and managing the whole process on your behalf from start to finish and hiring in the appropriate equipment to carry out the job safely, with our own personnel overseeing the lift and carrying out slinger-signaller duties.
We have the flexibility to meet all your lifting requirements. Our fleet of cranes enable us to access and manoeuvre in limited spaces and on difficult ground. We can provide all the necessary lifting tackle, ground mats and equipment required for each job. We will also happily arrange haulage on your behalf if this required as part of the lift operation e.g when carrying out machinery movement.
Assessing all the possible health and safety implications involved in a lift is crucial and is essential in protecting both your project and the safety of our team, as well as avoiding damage to property or the public. We adhere to strict safety guidelines and have been repeatedly certified as 'Worksafe Contractors' by SMAS, who re-assess us annually to ensure we continue to meet the health and safety standards required for this certification.
Phil and Ryan were more than helpful when setting the whole thing up, even when I threw a spanner in the works at the last minute! Steve and James who were operating the crane on site were extremely professional and got the job done quickly and efficiently. We would just like to thank your company and the men that assisted us today in placing our trusses on the roof.

We used A-Lift Crane Hire to support the installation of a hot tub in our garden. They visited the house in person to do a full site survey prior to the delivery day. On the delivery day the crane arrived early and had the tub safely placed in our garden within 30 minutes. Very professional, good value and we would highly recommend this service.

These guys did a lift for me yesterday and from my first contact right through to the crane leaving site they were excellent.
A complete professional service, much cheaper than County Lifting Services from Kettering without the attitude you get from them as well.
From Ryan in the office through to the two guys who turned up and did the lift, I was really impressed and I would highly recommend them.
