Services
Adam Partridge is one of the UK's best known antiques and fine art personalities, and regularly appears as an expert and auctioneer on television programmes including Flog It!, Bargain Hunt, Dickinson's Real Deal and Cash In the Attic.

In 2008, he opened Adam Partridge Auctioneers & Valuers, which has rapidly become the largest and most illustrious independent auction house in the North West, with salerooms in Macclesfield and Liverpool, a valuation office in Altrincham, and a satellite office in the South West.
The Asian art market continues to be one of the strongest areas throughout the world of auctions and we hold specialist sales twice a year featuring Chinese porcelain, paintings, jade and works of art, Japanese ceramics and bronzes and Korean ceramics. 2019 sees the total ban of the sale of ivory, with a few select exceptions.
Books of particular rarity and importance continue to achieve strong prices, and Adam Partridge Auctioneers Valuers regularly sell works dating from the early modern period up to the present day. We are also aware of emerging markets within the world of antiques and collectables, and have experience selling rare comic books published by Marvel, DC and Independent.
Adam Partridge Auctioneers & Valuers offers a series of Boutique Sales throughout the year, which include designer handbags, costume jewelry and accessories, as well as designer fashion items. Our Boutique sales frequently offer some of the leading names in luxury brands including, Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, Dior, Mulberry and many more.
Within every regular Antiques & Fine Art auction, we offer a selection of bronzes, marbles and other sculpture. As well as worldwide collectors, the growth in the interior design market has fuelled the demand for pieces by recognised makers or with a particular aesthetic appeal. Modern pieces by popular artists also appear in our biannual specialist Studio Ceramics & Modern Design sales.

Lovely staff and enjoyable visit. My item didn't sell but an offer was made after the auction. We have also arranged a home visit with a view to sell more items. Great service. Would highly recommend.

Very poor service.
I bought two lots in December 2019 at one of their auctions, and was invoiced a few days later, including shipping, as requested.
I was then called in July 2020 to request I collect the lots. I dug back through my emails and found that I had paid for shipping, and my last communication with them was that the would arrange collection.
Having delivered my items 6 months late, they declined my request to refund my buyer's fees (approx. £10) due to the coronavirus lockdown (?!) and that I should've contacted them to chase them up.

I highly recommend this auction, I bought a coffee table at a more than reasonable price, from the Macclesfield rooms, my 1st time at auction all the staff were very helpful and informative, they have a free shuttle service between all their auction rooms and Adam himself went and picked it up and brought it to Liverpool, an excellent experience all round and look forward to the next sale

A big thumbs down for Adam Partridge
Made an absentee commission bid, confirmed by them. Item sold for under half my maximum. Yet they claim they somehow missed my bid. Seems a friend? got a real deal. Not good for the seller / vendor of that lot, to say the least. Was told Adam Partridge would contact me / advise; never happened, so Adam Partridge is apparently not the amiable person he likes to present himself as on TV. They are in breach of a common law contract and so therefore owe me compensation. I suggested they waive the buyer's premium on my next purchase but the by now insulting (trying

I would of had a better chance at taking the items to a car boot sale, watched the auction 5th December , auctioneer was keen to get every lot finished even when at times the internet bid had come in and was ignored Will not be using this auction house again . had NO UMPFGH .. with the % they charge would of actually been better giving to charity .. never again ADAM PARTRIDGE AUCTIONS

I'm sure the good reviews are from people who have had no problems with this company but beware if you have any issues as there is absolutely appalling customer service from this unprofessional auction house. They are not part of any ombudsman scheme so its very difficult to resolve any problems with them. I have had to go to trading standards which has been very time consuming. I had an absolutely horrible time at their hands. Their terms and conditions neatly protect them but not their customers. I would be very wary when buying from them and any auction houses where you bid blind on line. look

Went to Valuation day there today the people were so unprofessional. The person who dealt with us knocked over one of the items that was there to be sold and when we pointed this out to him he said "oh forget about it it doesn't matter" and just left it there on the floor for people to stand on. When we came out and were passing the loading bay the lads that worked there were all swinging off the back of one of the vans, and started shouting over to my 17 year old daughter. Not at all what I expected it to be like. Definitely will not be going there again.
