Whiteleaf Acupuncture
Traditional acupuncture dates back over 2000 years and is a healthcare system based on ancient principles looking at illness as a sign that the body is out of balance. The overall aim of acupuncture treatment is to restore the body's equilibrium bringing you back into a state of well-being.

As well as treating a number of different conditions in the clinic from anxiety and depression through to headaches and pain management, I have a special interest in fertility, seeing patients from pre -conception to pregnancy and throughout IVF cycles. As well as acupuncture for fertility, I have a special interest in treating women's health in general.
Services
Since qualifying in 2008 from the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, I have been passionate about practising acupuncture in clinics across Buckinghamshire, within the beautiful Chiltern hills. I enjoy the integrated approach to treatment that my training provided, supporting both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the Five Element model of diagnosis.
Traditional Chinese Medicine is a system of medicine based on more than 2,500 years of Chinese medical practice that includes acupuncture, herbs, massage (tui na), exercise (qigong, tai chi) and dietary therapy. Traditional acupuncture aims to bring the body back into balance by using ultra-fine sterile needles inserted into specific points on channels, or meridians, located on the body.
The classes are a combination of Tai Chi practice and Qigong exercises with a focus on learning the Tai Chi form. The health benefits of both disciplines complement each other, becoming more apparent as you progress. Tai Chi is a gentle form of cardiovascular exercise and ultimately a moving meditation, which is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness.
This can be a very stressful and upsetting time for couples, placing immense strain on you and possibly your relationship. If you are looking for support on your fertility journey, I will help you at every stage, from pre-conception to conception and throughout the stages of pregnancy. If your infertility is unexplained, it is worth considering acupuncture before starting any assisted fertility treatment.
As well as acupuncture for fertility, I have a special interest in treating women's health in general. With its holistic approach to treatment, acupuncture can be beneficial at various stages in your life. You might be experiencing the effects of a stressful experience, traumatic event, or at a particular stage in your life where you are noticing the effects of hormonal imbalances, prior to, or during your menopause.
