Starting off as a busy and highly sought after custom tattoo studio based in Leigh-on-sea, Pride and Glory was founded early 2014 by Chessie Clear, an already established artist and tattooist who had been working in the industry since 2007. Her vision was to create a unique and original tattoo environment for tattoo enthusiasts.
Located just fifty minutes from the heart of London, in the historic seaside town of Leigh-on-sea. Chessie found her home amongst Leigh-on-sea's thriving artistic community and opened the doors to her beautiful and unique studio - Pride & Glory. Chessie ruined my tattoo and I seeked medical advice - Ink was to deep and lines blurred. I tried contacting her to fix the line work after my first session but she ignored me on many occasions.
Thankfully, I had it touched up a year later and not put off by tattoos. Maybe this is why her shop has closed?

I had a memorial tattoo done by Chessie in 2017 for my grandad who had just passed away (around one week before). I came up with a brief design which I sent over to Chessie, and she came up with something more beautiful than I could have imagined! She was absolutely lovely throughout the whole tattoo, and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed throughout, despite this being a sensitive topic due to the reason of the tattoo! The end result absolutely blew my mind, and I am equally in love with it today as I was 3 years ago! I am always getting comments on my tattoo, and it is just a perfect little

I have worked along side Chessie and she is so lovely and really works hard to make sure her customers get what they want. She is always happy to discuss ideas and help people create their perfect tattoo. Her tattoo area is always super clean and she pay a lot of attention to getting aftercare right so her tattoos heal well. Not only does she do lovely tattoos she is a wonderful person inside and out <3

Chessie is an excellent and professional artist, I have a cute little Harry Potter themed tattoo from her which I got on a very busy flash day.
As they were so busy, they politely asked if they could do my tattoo the following day, and it was great to have a more chilled out experience.
Cleanliness and customer satisfaction are her top priorities, and she is extremely thorough when offering after care for tattoos.
Her studio had a lovely vibe, and she also organised a lot of events in the community for Christmas and Halloween.
Her flash prices were all super reasonable too!

Chessie did my daughters tattoo that was a copy of the one I had when I was 18. Obviously on mine the colour had faded (as I'm a bit old lol). Chessie managed to copy it exactly but put more vibrant colours in so I think it will have a better lasting look then my one.
My daughter suffers from anxiety and although wanted her tattoo she was nervous as hell. Chessie was amazing and made her feel so comfortable. The service from start to finish was brilliant! My daughter had has several tattoos now and will only use Chessie!
