We specialise in providing care for adults with a learning disability suffering from dementia, Alzheimer's, memory loss and similar disorders. We are also proud to offer hospitality facilities that can cater up to 140 people. Our three bungalows, Aspen, Cherry and Rowan, provide a home and respite care for adults with learning disabilities.
The Oaklands is a registered charity and was established in 1984. It is fully constituted with an Executive committee. The Oaklands complex is set in its own beautifully landscaped grounds with a large private car park and is within easy reach of Warsop Centre. Services
The Oaklands Complex is managed by an Executive Committee which consists of volunteer trustees who are regulated by the Charity Commission. The Oaklands Complex is a not for profit social enterprise which is a registered charity. The aim of our home is to provide our residents with the highest possible standard of care.
Our three bungalows, Aspen, Rowan and Cherry, provide a home and respite care for adults with learning disabilities and are situated within The Oaklands Complex, in the heart of the Warsop community. Warsop is a busy town approximately 7 miles from the town of Mansfield and yet only minutes away from Sherwood Forest and the surrounding countryside.
Set in the heart of the Market Warsop, our centre is home to an array of groups which cater to the needs of the local community. 2017 saw the centre making its 30th anniversary for serving the community. Throughout the week we see a vast number of different groups hiring out our centre to help serve our community and their needs.
